General FAQs
Unitech Microsystems is an India-based IT rental company operating since 2013. We rent laptops, desktops, MacBooks and complete IT infrastructure to startups, enterprises, event teams and institutions across 45+ cities, backed by in-house engineers, transparent pricing and 24×7 support.
We serve 45+ cities including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata and Ahmedabad, with same-day delivery in major metros. For other locations we ship pan-India, typically within 24–72 hours depending on quantity and pincode.
Both. We rent to registered companies, startups, MSMEs, educational institutions and event organisers, as well as to individual professionals, students and freelancers. Company clients simply provide GST and business KYC, while individuals provide standard personal KYC.
Our fleet includes the latest Dell, HP, Lenovo, Apple (MacBook Air/Pro), Acer and ASUS machines — from everyday i5/8GB laptops to high-end i9/RTX workstations and 16" MacBook Pros for design and development. Tell us your workload and we'll recommend the right spec.
Rental FAQs
Our standard minimum tenure is one month. For events, exams, training sessions or short projects we also offer weekly and daily plans. Longer commitments of 6–12 months unlock significantly lower per-device monthly rates.
For individuals: PAN card, Aadhaar and one address proof. For businesses: GST certificate, company PAN, and an authorised signatory's ID. KYC is a one-time process and, once verified, repeat orders can be dispatched much faster.
Yes. You can scale up as your team grows, swap to higher or lower configurations, or return surplus units. We adjust your billing from the change date on a pro-rata basis — no need to close and reopen the contract.
Extensions are simple — just inform us before the tenure ends and we'll continue billing at your existing rate. For early closure, we ask for a short notice period (typically 7 days) so we can schedule pickup; any completed minimum tenure remains payable.
Payment FAQs
All pricing is quoted in INR on a per-device, per-month basis, with the exact rate depending on configuration, quantity and tenure. Entry-level laptops start from a few hundred rupees a month at longer tenures — request a free quote for your exact requirement.
Yes. Every rental is billed with a proper GST tax invoice so your business can claim input tax credit. We share invoices digitally each billing cycle, and rentals are booked as operating expense rather than a capital purchase.
A refundable security deposit applies to most rentals, calculated on device value and quantity. It is returned in full after the units are collected and inspected, minus only any charges for physical damage beyond normal wear or missing accessories.
We accept UPI, net banking, NEFT/RTGS bank transfers, and corporate cheques. Business clients on longer contracts can opt for monthly invoicing with agreed credit terms after KYC and approval.
Technical Support FAQs
Just raise a ticket by phone, WhatsApp or email. Our engineers troubleshoot remotely first, and if hardware is at fault we provide a replacement unit — usually the same or next working day in metros — so your work never stops.
Yes. Every device ships with a licensed operating system (Windows or macOS) and essential drivers ready to use. On request we can pre-load standard productivity tools, and for corporate orders we support custom imaging with your applications and domain settings.
Absolutely. Every device is securely wiped and freshly re-imaged before dispatch, and again on return. We follow strict data-sanitisation practices so no client data ever carries over between rentals. We recommend backing up your own work before returning a unit.
Front-desk support runs Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 8 PM, while corporate and large-fleet clients get 24×7 priority assistance with a dedicated account manager and defined response SLAs for critical issues.
Delivery FAQs
Yes — for in-stock configurations ordered before our cut-off time, we deliver same-day within major metros once KYC and payment are confirmed. Bulk orders and remote pincodes may take 24–72 hours; we always share a realistic ETA up front.
Standard delivery within metro limits is usually free for regular orders. For outstation shipping, on-site installation, or specialised setup we quote a transparent one-time charge in advance so there are never any surprises on your invoice.
Devices are dispatched in protective packaging with chargers and accessories, and each unit is logged by serial number. When your tenure ends, we schedule a pickup from your location at no extra hassle — you don't need to arrange courier or transport yourself.
Yes. For corporate rollouts we coordinate multi-city, multi-site delivery on a shared timeline, with pre-configured devices delivered directly to each office or even to individual employees' home addresses for remote and hybrid teams.
AMC FAQs
An Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) is a yearly service plan that covers upkeep and repairs. Rented devices already include maintenance in the rental, so a separate AMC is only for clients who own their hardware and want us to service it.
Our AMC covers periodic preventive maintenance, OS and driver updates, virus and performance clean-ups, diagnostics and labour for repairs. We offer both comprehensive AMC (parts included) and non-comprehensive AMC (labour only, parts billed separately).
AMC clients get priority handling. Remote support typically begins within a couple of hours, and on-site visits in metros are scheduled the same or next working day. Large contracts can include guaranteed response and resolution SLAs.
Yes, and many clients do. We can rent part of your fleet while maintaining your owned machines under AMC on a single relationship — one point of contact, consolidated billing and unified support for your entire IT setup.
